Today’s Protests are Misguided and Confused
Protests can be powerful tools to affect change when they have legitimacy. However, today’s protests lack connectivity to the core of the nation. Often times these are sponsored by powerful special interests, industry, and media.
Today’s Protests Are Not About:
– securing America’s borders
– restoring manufacturing and innovation
– improving healthcare and purifying food supply
– reducing mental health hardships
– eliminating drug and porn addictions, or
– upgrading education.
Today’s protests are about
– identity politics and political manipulation to grab control of tax-payer money and
– the power and influence of America’s economy and innovation to advance special interest, and sponsor-designed agenda.
Who Can Afford To Protest?
Participating in protests is expensive. It takes precious time, energy, and money to protest. Making signs, driving up to some place, wearing outfits for the occasion, and making and waving signs. Who can afford the luxury to stand in the streets and shout in the winds?
How do people afford this?
What do they willingly sacrifice to protest?
Real Working People Can’t Afford Protests
Taxpayers who get deductions taken from their paychecks, are
– working two and three jobs
– racing to pick up children from daycare
– caring for aging parents
– studying for the next exam
– cooking for children when the other spouse is working overtime, and
– saving up for the next pair of shoes can’t afford to protest.
At the end of the day, they are tired and exhausted. Yet they soldier through all their commitments to their family, work, and community. When these hard working heroes hit the sack, they struggle to find their calm. They are in the eye of the financial, work related, and health fire storms in their minds. Battling addiction, obesity, and heart diseases, they are over-medicated to get good sleep. What little sleep they do get is too short and insufficient to be healthy.
When you look at the protesters, what will you see?
Manipulated citizens empowered by narratives sponsored by special interests. They convert good-hearted Americans into arrogant, smug, self-righteous , and opinionated entitled people. Good people twisting themselves to conform to the narrative, lording their holier than though views on the hard-working citizens?
Very few of them are the people who keep America running. There are:
– no truck drivers
– no grocery shelf-stackers
– doctors’ offices nurses
– no machinists
– no construction workers
– no painters
– no electricians, and
– no plumbers.
The delusions sold to the protesters of equality, truth, and justice are seductive and out of reach. Nothing in nature is equal. No one knows the truth, and justice is hard to make just. Practicality rules the day. Delusions will make certain that America measures short of its real potential.
Build your strong life and stay clear of protesters
Ignore the entitled opinionated, brainwashed and funded by sponsors, protesters. Focus on health, education, children, parents, and community. Eat well and sleep deep. Exercise. Build your well being. Uplift your tribe. Study the path. Master what you need to know to grow. Research whom to trust. Clarify your priorities. Work like crazy to reach your best. This is what will improve your life.
How you use your energy, time, money, and presence in on you.
My purpose is to ask and share views for each of us to live our lives to the best. Specifically, I don’t post to support or attack the Republicans or Democrats. Our system corrupts virtually all politicians, no matter how honest they are before coming to the US Congress. Until we have term-limits this corruption will not decline. Let’s be smart about the choices we make about our time, energy, resources, and presence.
