How do you think about energy?
Energy is the life source that powers us. It fuels our creativity, problem solving, enthusiasm, ambition, drive, compassion, love and all that we do. We must replenish it as we exhaust our reserves.

Energy is life and life is energy. Without energy, we seize to exist.

How do you manage your energy?
There is no one single answer to managing the right way. No one can tell you how to manage your energy because they don’t know you. Every one of has a unique list of preferences and thresholds for tolerance. We might not like something but for our children, parents, and lovers, we are willing to accommodate. A smaller error on the part of a co-worker can be more disruptive and annoying.

Still, I am recommending one of many approaches that work to preserve and manage energy, our most precious asset.

Don’t place yourself in the company of people who drain your energy. Whether it is your mental, physical, emotional, intellectual, or spiritual energy – each time they hit you, you will feel like you are enduring a thousand cuts.

Stay away from people who not only don’t listen to you to improve their own selves, but disrespect you, diminish your guidance, and even ridicule you and your help.

The most important thought and recommendation that I can make is to remind you of what you already know. Be mindful. Observe yourself. See your fit in the environment and the nature of things where you are. Then make the choices to preserve and grow your energy.
