Being who we are, living life as we fancy it is effortless. Being authentic without being responsible is simple. The question that tests us, is whether we are living a life that is worthy of us?

Are you living a life that is worthy of you?

We can march on living our lives, while time ages us effortlessly with complete disregard to what we do with our energy. Whether we do or don’t become healthier, wiser, or wealthier, time doesn’t care.

What we make of our talents, brilliance, kindness, empathy, generosity, and wisdom is on us. It’s on me. And it’s on you!

Time and energy are all we have until we don’t have them anymore. When those curtains will close for each of us, no one knows. The strings to keep them open longer are not in our hands. And in almost all cases, time ends long before we exhaust our potential or fulfill our aspirations. The curtain will close on our lives, and the show will go on. What difference did we make in the time we had the stage?

Every moment is precious.

What often sets us apart from contributing or stagnating and participation or isolation is our capacity to handle unpredictability.  Sometimes the cost in time, energy, or money exceeds our capability. But many times we are stopped in our tracks because of our unwillingness to invest in ourselves. The specter of unpredictability rises in many forms: fear of failure, the disappointment of finding another dead-end, or the embarrassment that comes out of the fire hose of ridicule from our loved ones, for once again reaching for our goals and coming up short. We shut down before we even begin.

We stop ourselves from living a fully engaged life when what we aspire to, is to bring joy in the lives of all who matter for every moment in their lives and ours. We freeze on stage, forfeit our part, and give up our chance to shine, realizing only when the time is gone, that we deserved better. We deserved the joy of participation.

We deserve nothing less and should for settle for nothing less.

Why worry when everything about life is unpredictable?

Cancel anxiety by the only antidote that works: Joy!

Joy keeps us young, healthy, and strong.

Joy in every moment is the only worthy goal of life.

How to cancel the anxiety of unpredictability and create joy in every moment?

(1)  List the questions that stop you from reaching your aspirations.

(2)  Begin by gathering information:

        (a)  Watch expert videos on You-Tube of the top practitioners

        (b)  Find a mentor/s among your family and friends

        (c)  Get perspective from TED talks

        (d)  Read books to test your commitment

        (e)  Take free courses from top colleges to grow

        (f)  Surround yourself with people who value you

        (g)  Remove yourself from people and places that drain your positivity

(3) Hit or miss, make “Joy in every moment” your motto in life.

Joy! Thrive in it from participating, contributing, learning, growing, and living life to the fullest.
